How do I join an event?
Open the event and tap I'm Interested. Some organizers approve requests first — you'll get a notification when they respond.
What does a private event mean?
Private events don't appear in Discover, search or Nearby. Invite people by sending them the link (Invite friends on the event); with Auto-accept off, you approve each one who asks to join.
How do I find events near me?
Go to Discover → Events and tap Use my location. Choose when, a category and how far; switch to Map to see the events as pins.
Can I hold an event at a business?
Yes: tap Make it an event on an offer, or Host an event here on a business page. The business is asked to confirm.
How do promotions reach people?
Everyone who follows your business gets a notification when you publish a promotion.
Does it cost anything to have events at my business?
A small fee for events of 3 or more people that you confirm happened. See the policy.
How do I meet people safely?
Meet in public, tell a friend where you'll be, and leave whenever you want. Block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Read Meeting safely.
How do I stop some notifications?
Preferences → Notifications lets you switch each type on or off.
How do I change my photo or bio?
Preferences → Account, or tap the camera on your profile picture.
